The government has set up a website for students so that they can check out information on scholarships and student loans provided by various government entities, as well as apply for a number of scholarships or student loans at the same time, the Tertiary Education Services Office (GAES) said in a statement yesterday.
The website of the “Service Platform for Scholarships, Student Loans and Financial Support Awarded by Government Entities” is on https://www.bolsas.gov.mo.The website contains information in Chinese and Portuguese on the various scholarships and student loans provided by five government entities and three public higher education institutions, namely the Committee for the Awarding of Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies (CTABE), Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ), the DSEJ’s Students Social Welfare Fund, Macau Foundation (FM), Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), University of Macau (UM), Macau Polytechnic Institute (IPM), and Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT).
