An exhibition showcasing the works of members of the Macau Artist Society (MAS) kicked off last night at The Parisian Macao in Cotai, marking the first time that the annual event is being hosted at the integrated resort

Yesterday’s opening ceremony for “The Exhibition of Artworks of The Members of Macau Arist Society 2025” was packed with artists and gallerygoers, along with officiating guests and representatives, that explored the various artworks displayed across the six venues located on Level 3 of Shoppes at Parisian. In total, there are 180 artworks of various mediums on display ranging from different styles of painting to installations.

During his speech, Macau Artist Society President Lok Hei remarked that they were proud to present the exhibition in 2025, a significant year with Macau honoured as a Culture City of East Asia 2025 and while it also marks the 20th anniversary of the inscription of the Historic Centre of Macau on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The annual showcase aims to build a professional platform for member artists to “showcase their creative achievements while also opening a window for the public and arts enthusiasts to gain a deeper understanding of Macau’s diversified and vibrant artistic landscape, thereby fostering dialogue and exchange between arts and the community”, Lok, said last night.

It is an event that has seen the growth and evolution of “local creative energy” and contributed to the flourishing of fine arts in Macau, Lok also said.

The free-admission exhibition, which runs through March 27, is open from noon through 7 p.m. daily. Stay tuned for more pictures and details in an upcoming page 4.
