2,600 protest on May Day: police

Four groups, comprising two small trade unions, the Pearl Horizon Condominium Owners United Association and the Macau Family Reunion Federation, as well as a male duo and a lone man demonstrated on Monday – International Labour Day – afternoon.

According to the Public Security Police (PSP), about 2,600 people participated in the various protest marches.

Among the 2,600 protesters, about 2,000 were from the Pearl Horizon Condominium Owners United Association, according to local Chinese-language media reports.
