According to a statement by the Public Security Police (PSP), after investigating a video circulating online last month which showed a wedding photoshoot being conducted on a public road in Ka-Ho, they confirmed that the rider and pillion of the motorbike involved violated multiple traffic regulations, adding that the two models have been fined in accordance with the Road Traffic Law.
The Public Security Police also said that the rider is a non-resident worker (NRW) suspected of engaging in work outside the scope of his work permit, adding that the case has been referred to the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) for follow-up.
The person in charge of the photography team is also under investigation for suspected illegal work, according to the PSP statement, which pointed that the wedding photoshoot team have admitted to the violations and paid their fines voluntarily, while the motorbike owner has not been held liable.
According to PSP statement, the rider was not licenced to drive in Macau, neither the rider nor the pillion wore a helmet, the motorcycle’s rear licence plate was obstructed, the motorbike was parked on a solid yellow line, and the team members involved engaged in conduct that affected other road users – constituting multiple violations of Macau’s Road Traffic Law and Road Traffic Regulations.
The statement did not reveal the culprits’ place of residence. However, images of the Macau Road Traffic Law-violating photoshoot were still circulating on the Chinese mainland’s Xiaohongshu (aka RedNote or “Little Red Book”) social networking and e-commerce platform last night.

This photo downloaded from Xiaohongshu last night shows two models wearing wedding apparel but no helmets on a motorbike. For privacy reasons, the faces and licence plate number have been pixelated by the Post.
