It was the fan magazine ‘Off the Wall’ that Adrian Grant launched in 1988 about Michael Jackson that brought about Grant’s association with the King of Pop in which he met his idol, visited Jackson’s Neverland Ranch and then went on to publish books and made shows that have the music legend’s personal stamp of approval.

One of these shows is the musical “Thriller Live”, currently on at The Parisian Theatre, that Grant developed from the “Annual Michael Jackson Celebration”.

“Michael was a big fan of the ‘Annual Michael Jackson Celebration’ that I started producing in 1991,” Grant said in a recent e-mail interview with MPD Weekender. “He loved them so much that he used to send his own video crew to film them, as well as donating signed competition prizes for the fans that attended, and recording personal video messages for the fans.”
