Winners of ‘Sports in Macao’ 2025, 72nd Grand Prix photo contests announced

The Sports Bureau (ID) has announced the winners of its photography contests “Sports in Macao” 2025 and the 72nd Macau Grand Prix (MGP), with an awards ceremony held at the Mong-Ha Sports Centre yesterday. 

Organised by the bureau in conjunction with the Macau Photographic Association, the two competitions were concluded last year.

Officiating guests included the bureau’s Vice-President Mok Chi Hang, Sports Development Department Chief Chao Kuok Wai, and Head of the Macau Grand Prix and Major Sporting Events Department Vong Ka Kun.

Selected works are on display until March 31 at the atrium of the sports centre.

In the “Sports in Macao” 2025 competition, under the theme “Hero and Competition”, Chiang Ka Chon won first place, Lam Kok Kun garnered second place, and Tang Kai Lon finished third.

Under the theme “Joy and Physical Fitness”, Tang Kai Lon claimed first place, Kuok Kim Va won second place, and Cheong Chan Hong finished third. 

Meanwhile, for the “72nd Macau Grand Prix” photography contest, Wong Meng Kin won first place, while Tang Kai Lon and Cheong Chong Leong came second and third respectively. 

According to a statement by the bureau yesterday, it will continue promoting sports for all and enhancing public health through diversified sporting activities.
