Once again, the time for the annual Tap Siac Craft Market is approaching, being slated to take place from April 23 to 26 and from April 30 to May 3, with registration for the variety of creative handicraft workshops to be on offer during the period now open.

The annual fair has been held twice a year since 2008, particularly in the spring and autumn, according to the craft market website.

According to a statement by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) yesterday, 73 handicraft workshops, including 15 family sessions, will be held at the upcoming craft market.

With registration available until 5 p.m. on April 8, workshops on ceramics, glass, clay, leather, silver accessories and floral art are among those on offer, with more details available on www.craftmarket.gov.mo, while registration can be done on the Macao One Account on activity.mo.gov.mo/activity-h5/activity-list-web

Applicants may only register for up to two workshops, but only once for each, the statement said, with the same applying for children in family workshops. Selected applicants will be notified via SMS on April 9.

The statement said that the fee for each workshop is 50 patacas. The statement reminded selected participants to arrive on time, with latecomers to be replaced by on-site applicants, with no refunds provided. One can find more details on “Registration Notes”.
