The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a man from the mainland on Monday on suspicion of cheating a male compatriot out of HK$1.3 million late last year, PJ spokeswoman Yeung Sau Chan said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Yeung identified the suspect as a 29-year-old man surnamed Zhao, and the victim as a 27-year-old surnamed Yi.
Two other male suspects involved in the case are still at large, according to Yeung.
