A local man of Portuguese descent has been arrested for shoplifting sushi and lasagne from a supermarket, a Public Security Police (PSP) spokesperson said during a regular press conference yesterday.
The spokesperson said the 39-year-old unemployed man surnamed Gonçalves was seen by a supermarket staff member on Wednesday taking two boxes of sushi and a packet of lasagne, and leaving the supermarket without paying for the items.
The value of the three items was about 80 patacas.
