Local university students will have the chance to gain international fashion industry exposure and attend Paris Fashion Week through a new digital marketing competition jointly launched by SJM Resorts and Vivienne Westwood*, SJM said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, “The Content Atelier & Digital Campaign Competition” aims to nurture young creative talent by providing a platform for students to demonstrate their digital marketing and content creation skills.

The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students aged 18 or above, the statement said, adding that participants must visit the “Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery” Exhibition 2026 Macau at Cotai’s Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau in person and create original content for submission.

The statement noted that two competition categories are available – Category A requires participants to produce a short video of up to 30 seconds, accompanied by a caption of no more than 100 words, while Category B focuses on photography, allowing up to 20 photos with a caption of the same length.

The winner’s prize in the short video category includes round-trip flights from Hong Kong to Paris and a front-row VIP seat at the “Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood SS27 Fashion Show” scheduled for October, the statement said, while the winner of the photography category will receive HK$10,000 in Vivienne Westwood store credit.

Moreover, additional outstanding participants will receive an afternoon tea experience at Vivienne Westwood Café (Hong Kong & Macau) at Grand Lisboa Palace, as well as induction into the “Hong Kong & Macau Emerging Creative Talent Network”, which offers priority consideration for future collaborations and regional events, the statement said.

SJM said in the statement that the competition supports Macau’s “1+4” economic diversification strategy by promoting cultural tourism development and youth engagement, adding that the initiative also seeks to transform the ongoing Vivienne Westwood exhibition into a practical educational platform where students can develop creative and marketing skills.

Entries will be assessed by a judging panel based on originality, brand relevance and social media engagement potential, the statement said, adding that participating social media accounts must remain public and accessible until at least July 6. The submission deadline is June 28, while the winners will be announced on July 6.
