Dinosaur characters from South Korea’s popular character brand JOGUMAN* are at the forefront of NOVA Mall’s latest summer campaign, with a themed installation set up at the mall’s atrium, along with various activities.
The campaign is themed “JOGUMAN Macau Vacation - LEMONADE PLAYLAND @ NOVA Mall.”
JOGUMAN BRACHIO, DIPLO, TRICERA, STEGO, ANKYLO and WOODY are all displayed at the themed area “LEMONADE PLAYLAND”, being in line with the saying “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”, according to a recent statement by the mall.
Each character has a part to play in the various activities and sections.
Highlights include photo opportunities, including one with a four-metre-tall BRACHIO, and a flashcard dispenser featuring seven special edition items. The statement said that it also includes a themed game zone with three interactive challenges: “Lemon Maze”, “Lemon Tic-Tac-Toe” and “Is There Lemonade?”, with shoppers spending a certain amount until August 31 and during the weekend extensions on September eligible to redeem game tickets for a chance to win gifts.
Meanwhile, outside of the mall, “SPEED SAILING” sees the IP in a collaboration with TurboJET for themed vessels, the statement said. TurboJET Super Class passengers can also take the themed “Super Plus Shuttle Services” to the mall.
NOVA Mall General Manager Paul Lee Yan Kwong was quoted by the statement as highlighting the first-time collaboration with IPX, which manages the global intellectual property business for JOGUMAN.
“Through JOGUMAN, we hope to turn the humorous and uplifting idea of ‘When life gives you lemons, make lemonade’ into a series of photo spots and interactive game challenges for our visitors to enjoy a light-hearted day filled with smiles and moments of healing, while creating their own sunny summer memories with JOGUMAN”, Lee said.

*JOGUMAN comes directly from the Korean adjective “jogeuman”, which translates to “small” or “tiny”. In the context of the Seoul-based character design studio JOGUMAN Studio, the name translates literally to “tiny little beings”. – Gemini
