A “Financial Services Station” – a set of self-service kiosks for various financial services – run by Ant Bank (Macao)* has opened in the Galaxy Macau casino-hotel resort in Cotai, according to a joint statement.
An opening ceremony for the station was held at the resort on Friday.
Friday’s joint statement said that the Financial Services Station jointly developed by Galaxy Macau and Ant Bank (Macao) marks a milestone as it debuts a first-of-its-kind experience at an integrated resort in Macau. The overall experience will be diversified and streamlined as a collection of self-service banking, interactive online and offline consultations, and the upcoming all-new Galaxy membership programme is provided under one roof, the statement said.
The statement added that as tourism consumption continues to evolve, financial services are expanding beyond traditional transactional roles to encompass a wide range of travel, payment, membership, and lifestyle scenarios, becoming an integral driver of enhanced visitor experiences and consumer engagement.
A pioneering step taken between an integrated resort in Macau and Ant Bank (Macao), the newly set-up Financial Services Station embodies Galaxy Macau and Ant Bank (Macao)’s shared vision of advancing “Finance + Tourism” convergence, the statement said.
By leveraging the synergistic interaction between fintech innovation and tourism consumption, the collaboration aspires to offer visitors a more intelligent, convenient, and integrated one-stop service experience, the statement said.
Equipped with Ant Bank (Macao)’s smart self-service platform, the statement said, the Financial Services Station is home to a range of financial services, including cash deposits and withdrawals and Macau Pass card top-ups. Users are able to familiarise themselves with fintech and its applications at the station with the help of a dedicated showcase and professional team.
