FrieslandCampina (Hong Kong) Ltd announced in a statement on its Facebook account on Monday that it has launched a test report viewing system on its official website.
According to a July 27 report by the Post, the local government recently ordered the withdrawal of Dutch infant formula, Frisolac Prestige Stage 1 Infant Formula (imported by FrieslandCampina (Hong Kong) Ltd), after a sample was found to contain 0.2 mg/kg of lead. This exceeded the maximum legal limit of 0.02 mg/kg for lead in infant formula, as stipulated in Macau’s Maximum Limits of Heavy Metal Contaminants in Food regulations.
According to the statement, the lookup system allows consumers to access professional testing reports for the company’s products. Consumers can visit the website and enter the product batch number to view the test report for the specific batch, the statement said, adding that the system currently supports enquiries for product batches manufactured from July 2025 onwards. As testing is carried out by different certified laboratories, the report formats may vary, but all results are authoritative and reliable, the statement noted.
FrieslandCampina emphasised that it fully understands parents’ concerns regarding the health and safety of infants and young children. The company has always adhered to strict quality and safety standards as its guiding principle and regards safeguarding the health of infants and young children as its foremost responsibility, the statement said, adding that it maintains firm confidence in the safety and quality of its products and will continue to ensure that all items meet Hong Kong and Macau food safety standards.
