Three people suffered from gastroenteritis after eating at Fernando’s Restaurant in Coloane, according to a statement by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) last week.
According to the statement on Thursday, of a group of four people who had dinner at the restaurant last Monday evening three had gastroenteritis symptoms the next day, such as diarrhoea and vomiting.
The statement said that IACM officials went to the restaurant immediately after receiving a report about the incident, adding the officials found that some of the food had been kept at room temperature for too long and the employees of the restaurant had a low awareness of keeping the kitchen clean.
