The bureau hoisted the No.3 typhoon signal when the cyclone was nearest to the city at about 80 kilometres east of Macau early yesterday morning, according to the bureau’s website.
The storm did not cause any flooding in the city.
However, all ferry services were suspended from 5 p.m. on Monday to 6 a.m. yesterday as the Hong Kong Observatory had hoisted the No. 8 typhoon signal.
