A youth entrepreneurship group said yesterday that some young people are not sufficiently prepared to start their own business so that it eventually goes belly up.
William Kuan Vai Lam, who heads the “Youth Entrepreneurship Think Tank Association”, made the remarks during a ceremony at the Economic Services Bureau (DSE) in Nam Van.
The association held the ceremony to appoint a number of “mentors” for the group’s mentor scheme with the aim of assisting young people in their business start-ups. The scheme is jointly organised by the group and the bureau.
