The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that it is inviting applications from stall operators for the autumn edition of the Tap Siac Craft Market, to be held from November 19 to 22 and November 26 to 29 in Praça do Tap Seac.
Applications are open from yesterday through September 21 and are free of charge, the statement said. The market will run from Thursday to Sunday over two consecutive weeks, aiming to feature more than 200 handicraft and creative gastronomy stalls.
Local applicants can apply online through the “Craft Market Booth Operator Database” (https://www5.icm.gov.mo/craftmarketV2), while applicants from other regions can refer to the Tap Siac Craft Market website (https://www.craftmarket.gov.mo/) for application details, the statement noted, adding that products proposed for sale must feature original designs, with at least 10 models available.
Proposals may also include cultural and artistic experience services, the statement underlined. If eligible applications exceed the available quota, the bureau will select stall operators by drawing lots, the statement said.
Held annually in spring and autumn, the Tap Siac Craft Market aims to provide a platform for cultural and creative practitioners to exchange ideas and showcase and sell their products, while supporting creativity and innovation as well as promoting the marketing of Macau’s cultural and creative products, the statement noted.
Applicants can visit the relevant application platforms for details. Enquiries can be made to IC staff member Ms. Zhou on 8399 6289 during office hours.
