The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will organise the second phase of its 2026 farming experience activity at the Hac Sa Nursery (黑沙苗圃). Registration will be open from September 14 to September 20, according to an IAM statement yesterday.
The second phase of the farming experience will run from October 11 to February 14 of the following year, lasting approximately four months. A total of 140 groups will be accommodated. Each group can consist of one to six participants, with a registration fee of 270 patacas per group, the statement said.
The statement added that Macau residents aged 3 to 80 who are interested in farming and physically fit for outdoor labour can register between September 14 and 20 via the “Macao One Account” platform, in person at the IAM Integrated Services Centre, or at any of the Public Service Centres and their sub-stations. The activity adopts a “first-register, then-draw, then-pay” registration method.
The final confirmed list of participants can be viewed on “Macao One Account” on or after October 5, the statement said, adding that the bureau will send an SMS to notify all confirmed groups to attend the “Farming Season Briefing Session” to be held on October 11.
