THE WAY BACK HOME
I recommend the show to everyone who understands at least basic Cantonese. A great performance by local actors, merged with film clips about Macau’s long-neglected Chi Lam Vai walled village near UNESCO World Heritage-listed Na Tcha Temple and the Ruins of St Paul’s. I watched it at the Black Box of the Macao Cultural Centre in Nape last night. Great production by the local Chong Chi Theatre Association combining talented local actors and a cinema presentation (clips from a film about the village which finally will be revamped by the government). Two more performances, today and tomorrow.
