The around 6,000-square-metre Macao Franchise Expo 2026 (2026MFE) will kick off its four-day run on October 21 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, this year focusing on two signature sections in enhancing exhibitor cross-sector matching: coffee and bakery.

According to a statement by Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) on Wednesday, by combining the resources of the concurrently held the 31st Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (31st MIF) and the 2026 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (2026PLPEX), organisers will establish “a comprehensive end-to-end service chain comprising the evaluation and selection of coffee beans from Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs)”.

The statement said that 2026MFE will focus on Brand Studio, featuring four sections: Baking Club, Coffee Bazaar, Lifestyle Club, and IP Licensing Trend Club.

The statement added that the event will be showcasing leading brands from the Chinese mainland, Macau, Southeast Asia, and beyond, with several overseas debuts. Moreover, it will highlight modern consumer trends through new retail goods, smart mobility equipment, homeware, and dining services. It also gathers original IPs, designer toys, IP derivatives, and licensing agencies, the statement said.

The statement added that visitors completing designated routes on the check-in maps can collect specialty items such as coffee, fresh bread, and IP merchandise.
