The Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets will be playing their off-season matches at the 14,000-seat Venetian Arena tomorrow and on Sunday for The NBA China Games, and in conjunction with the events, basketball fans and other visitors at The Venetian Macao will have a chance to take part in a variety of themed happenings at the free-admission, expanded “NBA HOUSE”.
Taking place at the integrated resort’s Cotai Expo Halls A and B until Sunday, the 2026 edition is 65 percent larger than last year’s, as noted in yesterday’s media tour, and gathers nearly 30 brands and partners.
Fans can again have a chance to see NBA (the United States’ National Basketball Association) legends at the ongoing event, with Ray Allen, Carlos Boozer, Jeremy Lin (林書豪), Shawn Marion, and Mitch Richmond being among the headlining names.
Advanced technology and AI elements are also integrated, with robots dressed in each team’s jersey roaming the venue, while AI-integrated shooting games, the AI powered-real-time 360 replay, and an “NBA Chat” are also showcased. Meanwhile, several themed installations are presented including the dynamic ones that greet visitors right before entering the venue, alongside games that test one’s dribbling skills and athleticism.
Beyond that, visitors can also explore exhibitions themed after each Texan team, a showcase of various NBA trophies and memorabilia, while other installations within the expo include the interactive smart digital LED court “NBA Inside the Game powered by AWS”*, shooting arcades, and areas that offer face painting and hair braiding.
In terms of food, this edition sees a 1,500 square-metre F&B area that features both local and Texan cuisine, while shoppers can find fashion items including official merchandise, collectibles, and an area for items including custom T-shirts, at an upgraded Merchandise Village.
