There are plans for the redevelopment of the long-abandoned Catholic Centre building in the city centre, according to the proposed legal development conditions for the plot published by the Lands, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT) yesterday.
The legal development conditions for the project were released on the DSSOPT website. From yesterday until July 4 residents can submit their suggestions and opinions about the plot’s development conditions. Afterwards, the plan is slated to be discussed in a regular meeting of the government-appointed Urban Planning Council (CPU).
The Catholic Centre, located at the junction of Rua do Campo, Rua Formosa and Avenida da Praia Grande, has been vacant for over two decades.
