Local think tank Macau Development Strategy Research Centre Vice President Loi Hoi Ngan urged Macau’s civil society to adopt an open mind for the city’s participation in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

Loi made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a forum organised by the newly-formed Macau Social and Livelihood Enhancement Association, at Hotel Beverly Plaza in Zape. The one-day forum focused on how economic development can improve residents’ livelihood.

The local government is collecting residents’ opinions on how Macau should participate in the development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA), until next Wednesday.
