Japanese fine-dining restaurant Yamazato is collaborating with the Miyasaka Brewing Company to present a “Masumi Sake Pairing” menu available now until July 23.
Masumi sake was founded in 1662 near Lake Suwa in the centre of the Japanese Alps in Nagano prefecture. Masumi sake is brewed in the exotic place known as Shinshu Suwa where it is surrounded by the Yatsugatake “Eight Peaks” Range. With the crystal clear air and pure water in the region, its long winter period provides the purest ingredients to make the finest sake. Masumi received a gold medal and is recognised among breweries in Japan.
During the promotion period, the restaurant will have four types of sake: Karakuchi Kiippon Sake – dry, fresh and easy to drink, making it one of the central pillars of the Masumi brand; Nanago Sake – mild fragrance and firm acidity and has a full flavour with a “clean finish” which makes it ideal to drink all night and won’t tire you out; Sanka Sake – a fresh, natural flavour that builds from cup to cup; and Miyasaka Miyama – a fine acidity and mild aroma which is perfect with food.
