The Public Security Police (PSP) took a tourist from the mainland in for questioning at the weekend after an officer saw him flying a remote-controlled camera drone near Government Headquarters, a PSP spokesperson said during a regular press conference yesterday.
The spokesperson said a PSP officer, who was on duty at Government Headquarters in Nam Van on Sunday night, saw a camera drone circling near the building. The officer then found a man controlling the drone near Nam Van Lake.
According to the spokesperson, the 30-year-old man told the police that he was flying the drone to capture the beautiful scenery by the lake.
