Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) Deputy Director Lou Pak Sang said yesterday that the various study and exchange programmes outside Macau coordinated by his bureau this summer aim to help pupils develop positive values and attitudes and allow them to spend a fulfilling and meaningful summer holiday.
The bureau jointly organises with various associations a raft of study and exchange programmes that take place in the mainland and overseas during the school summer holiday period every year.
Lou made the remarks in a speech during the launch ceremony for the various programmes taking place until the end of next month. Government officials and civic leaders, as well as hundreds of pupils and teachers attended yesterday’s ceremony at Keang Peng School in Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira.
