Jiang Haitao, creator of local mobile app for food delivery Aomi, said yesterday that local users’ general lack of confidence in e-payment transactions has been a road block for the city’s e-commerce development.
Jiang made the remarks on the sidelines of a forum about e-payments at the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM) in Zape.
Aomi, launched in June last year by Macau e-Media Development Company Limited, is the first local food app which supports payments in both yuan and patacas.
