Dishes with all the quality and creativity of fine dining with ingredients that people are familiar with will be on the menu that Graham Elliot is helping to design for the Coast restaurant that he will be overseeing at MGM Cotai.

The Chicago-based chef, who has a two Michelin-starred restaurant and has been on popular cooking shows like MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and Top Chef, was in town last week to give the media a sneak peek of some of the dishes set for the menu, which he is continuing to tweak as he has been inspired by the local flavours and ingredients.

“The menu is 75 percent done, but instead of coming and dropping my restaurant and dishes here, I had to go back and change,” Elliot told reporters at a tasting event. “So the more I taste, the more I get to travel and see things from this area, that absolutely influences the menu,” he said.
