Government appointed Economic Development Council member Iu Veng Ion said yesterday he hoped that Macau’s participation in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area would not only focus on economic cooperation.
Iu also called for a solution to the restricted Internet access in the mainland.
Iu made the remarks during a forum hosted by think tank Macau Wisdom Convergence Network in a recreational area in Fai Chi Kei. The open-air forum was about how Macau can diversify its economy by its participation in the development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
