English Premier League football coaches and legends were in town on Saturday to coach 60 young aspiring footballers and give them advice on how to be successful players.

MGM had invited Liverpool FC’s coaches David McParlan and Jamie Spellman to put on a Liverpool Football Clinic for members of the local Football Youth Academy with Liverpool legends Robbie Fowler and former captain Sami Hyypia on hand to dole out advice on how the 6- to 14-year-olds could improve their game, at the stadium of the Taipa Olympic Sports Centre.

Fowler, a striker, played for Liverpool from 1993 to 2001 and again in the 2006/7 season. Hyypia, a defender, played for Liverpool from 1999 to 2009, became captain in 2001 until Steven Gerrad took over the captain’s armband in 2003.
