Two Hong Kong men were caught on Friday for allegedly pick pocketing inside the Barrier Gate checkpoint, a Public Security Police (PSP) spokesperson said yesterday.
According to the spokesperson, one of the suspects, surnamed Lai, is in his fifties while the other suspect, surnamed Ho, is in his sixties.
The spokesperson said a woman told the police on July 29 that her purse had been stolen. Tam said the victim discovered that her backpack had been opened when she was on an escalator at the checkpoint.
