Olympic gold medallists from the National Diving Team will be visiting Macau on Tuesday and Wednesday where they will be demonstrating their diving skills at the Macau Olympic Aquatic Centre, the Sports Bureau (ID) announced yesterday.
ID Vice President Lau Cho Un said during a press conference at the bureau that the athletes include Chen Ruolin and Shi Tingmao who both won gold at the Rio Olympics last year.Local Sports and Olympic Committee President Ma Iao Hang said at the press conference that besides the two evenings of diving skill demonstrations at the Aquatic Centre, the divers will also be visiting local communities and schools during their stay where they will be getting up close and personal with residents in general and young people in particular to share their inspirational behind-the-scenes stories.
