Jason Chao Teng Hei, grassroots New Macau Association’s (NMA) former vice-president who quit the group in March, yesterday held a press conference about the findings of his observation of Sunday’s legislative elections based on the information collected by his website, “Project Just Macau”.

Chao said he hoped his findings would arouse society’s attention, namely concerning possible amendments to the Legislative Assembly Election Law in the future.

Project Just Macau, the brainchild of Chao, started operating in April. According to the website, Chao’s project “is a platform to collect, organise, analyse and follow up on information from civil society about the elections”.
