The Patane Library whose facilities were severely damaged by floodwaters during the Super Typhoon Hato onslaught will reopen tomorrow, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday.
Patane is the Portuguese name for the district known in Chinese as Sa Lei Tau.
The library is located in Rua da Ribeira do Patane, near the “Water Market”.
The statement said that the equipment in the library, including its electricity supply and air-conditioning system, was severely damaged in the floods.
