A local man was caught on Wednesday for showing his naked body to female residents in residential buildings in Areia Preta, a Public Security Police (PSP) spokesperson said yesterday.
According to the spokesperson, the suspect, surnamed Chan, is an unemployed resident in his fifties.
The spokesperson said the police received four reports from Monday to Wednesday that Chan had exposed his naked body near Rua de Ma Kau Seak in Areia Preta. After investigating, the police identified Chan, the spokesperson said, adding that the police then increased patrols in the area.
Police officers saw Chan at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday in the area and followed him. According to the spokesperson, when the officers saw Chan removing his clothes on the 15th floor stairwell of a residential building and wrapping gauze around his face, they stopped him immediately. A box cutter was found on Chan, the spokesperson said.
