The government is launching a one-month public consultation today on the establishment of a non-political municipal organisation in Macau.
The government is proposing that board members of the municipal organisation are not elected but that they will be appointed by the chief executive instead.
A press conference about the public consultation was held yesterday at the Legal Affairs Bureau (DSAJ) in Nape. The public consultation will end on November 23. Two public sessions will be held during the consultation period.
