The grassroots New Macau Association (NMA) yesterday urged the government to amend the operation of the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) and its administrative structure.
The activist group made the appeal during a press conference at its office.
The press conference hosted by NMA activists Scott Chiang Meng Hin and Ray Leong Ka Wai was about a hard-hitting report released last week by the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC) on the findings of an investigation into the observatory over its widely criticised typhoon forecasting process and internal management.
