If trick-or-treating and haunted houses are not enough to scare you witless for Halloween, watching some David Lynch’s films is surely enough to send shivers down your spine.

Cinematheque.Passion is running a special screening of “The Nightmare Maker: David Lynch” where it will feature five of the acclaimed US filmmaker’s classics, with award-winning psychological thriller “Mulholland Dr.” as the opening film for the festival that begins tomorrow and runs until October 31, All Saints’ Eve, or commonly called Halloween.

Lynch has only directed 10 feature films in the past 40 years but he has become one of the most influential American filmmakers of his generation having earned a reputation for making highly opaque and mysterious works of cinema, according to a Cinematheque.Passion’s statement.

“The Nightmare Maker: David Lynch” festival poster and movie posters of Lynch’s films are provided by Cinematheque.Passion.
