Macau’s population rose by 100 from 648,400 at the end of the second quarter to 648,500 at the end of the third quarter, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) has announced.
According to a DSEC statement on Friday, females accounted for 53 percent of the population.
Based on Macau’s land area of 30.5 square kilometres, the special administrative region’s population density stood at 21,262 at the end of the third quarter.
