MGM has teamed up with Japanese digital software company teamLab to bring some of its famous immersive installations to reignite your inner child and where children can play, create and learn as they delve into that virtual world of the future.

The “Learn & Play! teamLab Future Park” exhibition, which opens to the public today until February 28, features four sections, with a “Sketch Christmas/Sketch Town”, “Sketch Town Papercraft”, “Light Ball Orchestra” and “Graffiti Nature – Mountains & Valleys”.

Once inside MGM Art Space, visitors will be awed by the huge screen with a virtual town of moving trucks and a flying Father Christmas. It makes a great photo opportunity but what’s more is that the interactive virtual town is where visitors can draw their own cars or lorries or houses or even Father Christmas riding on a sleigh with reindeers – then by scanning the image, they become part of the virtual town with local landmarks, such as the Ruins of Saint Paul’s, with Christmas trees around it.
