Former Macau Customs Service Director General Choi Lai Hang, who is now coordinator for the Security Forces Coordination Office, tops this year’s honours list, the government announced yesterday.
According to the announcement, Choi was awarded the Decoration of Honour – Gold Lotus, Macau’s second highest decoration. The SAR’s highest decoration – Grand Lotus – was not awarded this year, and neither was it last year.
Registered auditor Lei Loi Tak, who is the president of the Soka Gakkai International Buddhist Association of Macau, and Vong Kok Seng, vice-president of board of directors of the Macau Chamber of Commerce (ACM), were awarded the Decoration of Honour – Silver Lotus.
