Local French chamber to hold charity dinner to raise funds for elderly

The France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) will be holding a charity dinner on January 26 to raise funds to support the Macau Fok Sin Association to buy necessities for elderly people, FMCC Chairman Rutger Verschuren announced yesterday.

During the press conference at MGM, Verschuren said that this year’s Moulin Rouge-themed charity dinner, which will also mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the France Macau Business Association (FMBA). Last year, it was officially recognised as a chamber of commerce, hence it has become FMCC.

Last year, FMCC raised about 48,000 patacas to support Architecture Sans Frontière-Macau to revamp the local Good Shepherd Sisters Centre.
