The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man yesterday for a burglary he allegedly committed last year, PJ spokeswoman Lei Hon Nei said during a special press conference at the PJ headquarters in Zape yesterday.
According to Lei, the Judiciary Police received a report of a burglary at an entertainment venue near Avenida do Almirante Lacerda in September. Lei did not elaborate on the kind of entertainment the business provided.
CCTV camera footage scrutinised by the police showed a man wearing a safety helmet and face mask breaking into the place and forcing open a drawer inside, according to Lei. He grabbed a laptop, a tablet, and HK$25,000 and 20,000 patacas in cash before leaving swiftly.
