Macau Tower has halted its bungee jumps after a rare incident on Monday, in which a jumper was left dangling in mid-air for over an hour before being rescued by firefighters.
According to a statement posted at Macau Tower, the bungee jumps are currently unavailable due to “operational maintenance”. Not having specified when the bungee jumps will be restarted, the statement merely said that they would not be in operation until further notice.
However, the websites of both Macau Tower and AJ Hackett haven’t published anything regarding Monday’s incident and the follow-up suspension.
