Three of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’ children visited Macau and met hundreds of Filipinos living and working in the city on Saturday afternoon in a meet-and-greet at Chan Meng Kam Theatre in Iao Hon
The trio consisted of Paolo Duterte, eldest son of the Philippine leader and former mayor of Davao City, Sara Duterte, current mayor of Davao City, and Sebastian Duterte.
In May 2016 Rodrigo Duterte defeated four other candidates in the Philippine presidential election and won the election with 39.05 percent of the votes. During his campaign he promised to combat the country’s illegal drug trade and clamp down on crime, according to previous media reports.
