On January 20 in the evening, according to Choi, the victim received a call from a man asking to exchange yuan into Hong Kong dollars. After discussing the details with the caller, the victim agreed to buy 60,000 yuan for HK$68,700. The duo agreed to meet in the lobby of a casino in Cotai.
