A 12-year-old boy fractured his right thigh after getting it stuck between the closing doors of a lift yesterday, according to a statement by the Fire Services Bureau (CB).
The incident took place at Long Yuen Bldg in Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira, the statement said. The boy was in the lift with his parents when it stopped at the 15th floor. As the boy was leaving the lift the doors suddenly closed trapping him between them.
The parents’ whereabouts at the time of the accident was not mentioned by the statement.
