Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) President Liu Liang said yesterday that 43 per cent of non-local graduates in his university who were looking for work last year chose to seek employment in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA), adding he believed that the number will likely increase in the future.

Liu made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of a two-day annual career fair on the campus of the private university in Taipa.

Liu said his university would also encourage local graduates to participate in the development of the GBA. “It is a good opportunity for our local graduates to develop their careers,” he said.
