The Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) urged the public yesterday to keep away from the city’s two beaches over a “black substance” found there.
According to a DSAMA statement, there was less of the “black substance” spotted on the sand at Hac Sa Beach yesterday than in the previous days although the Macau Waste System Company (CSR) staff yesterday were still removing the “black substance”. As for Cheoc Van Beach, the bureau didn’t spot any of subustance there yesterday.
The statement said that as more of the substance might arrive with the tide, the public were advised to stay clear of the city’s two beaches.
