A mainland man was caught taking an upskirt video of a local woman in a supermarket near the Barrier Gate on Tuesday, a spokesman for the Public Security Police (PSP) said during regular press conference in Zape yesterday.
According to the spokesman, the suspect surnamed Huo, who is in his thirties, works as a salesman in Macau while the victim is a local university student in her twenties.
The spokesman said that Huo went to the supermarket at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. In the supermarket, Huo took out his smartphone and tried to record videos under the victim’s skirt. During his attempt, his phone touched the woman’s thighs allowing the victim to realise what was going on. The victim then called the police.
